Over 200 species of plants are on display in the Shineman Center greenhouse, most with noteworthy ecological, evolutionary or social importance found primarily in tropical, arid and semiarid environments.

The greenhouse is located on the roof of the Shineman Center and can be accessed by taking the elevator across from room 174 to the roof.

In addition to the hours below, visits also can be scheduled for individuals and classes by contacting Eric Hellquist, eric.hellquist@oswego.edu.

  • Monday 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday 2:10 to 3:10 p.m.
  • Wednesday 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
  • Friday 3 to 4 p.m.
