The university’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign continues its sponsorship of the annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign, which provides school supplies to children in need in Oswego County’s nine school districts. 

Collection boxes around campus (see below) will receive drop-offs. The collection is underway and will run through Aug. 18. The effort unfolds in partnership with the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Members of the campus community are invited to help provide Oswego County schoolchildren with the supplies they will need, including:

  • Backpacks (large and small)
  • Pens (black and/or blue)
  • #2 pencils
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • Highlighters
  • Dry erase markers
  • D-ring binders (between one and two inches)
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Spiral notebooks (one-subject through five-subject types)
  • Tabbed dividers for binders
  • Pocket folders
  • Erasers
  • Hard pencil cases
  • Composition books
  • Glue sticks
  • Thumb drives
  • Post-It notes
  • Simple function calculators
  • Rulers
  • Index cards
  • Safety scissors

Confirmed drop-off locations to date include Culkin Hall, Rich Hall, the Parking Office, Penfield Library, the Shineman Center and Park/Wilber halls. Watch for other possible drop-box locations around campus.
