SUNY Oswego’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) planning committee invites the campus community to learn more about what the Port City has to offer via the return of the Explore Oswego raffle with eight prize baskets worth over $2,200.

The baskets range in value from $200 to $310. Donations by United University Professions and the Civil Service Employees Association allowed organizers to purchase $500 worth of  extra gift certificates and create a lottery card basket worth $200.

Online ticket sales began as of Monday, April 27, and run through Wednesday, May 6. Tickets are $1 each. In-person sales will take place on Wednesday, May 6, in the Marano Campus Center concourse area. You can see what is in the baskets in person and purchase tickets from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and you can use the QR code at the table to purchase tickets or use cash that day.

Drawings for all baskets will take place on Friday, May 8, at noon. Please note that baskets must be picked up in person by Tuesday, May 12.

Many Oswego businesses made donations to the baskets, and SEFA would like to thank them all. They include: Aqua Spa Float Center, Bistro 197, Broadwell Hospitality Group, Blossom Yoga, Chelle’s Bakery, City of Oswego, Cook’s Mfg Jewelry, Eagle Beverage, Fajita Grill, Green Planet Grocery, Khepera Coffee Roasters, Moonstone Skin & Soul, Ontario Orchards, Oswego Sub Shop, Pizza Villa, Port City Day Spa, Press Box, Rudy’s Lakeside Drive In, Six Scoops Ice Cream, Stone Creek Golf Club, Tim Nekritz and Whacko Gringo.

SEFA invites campus participation in making this fundraiser successful while giving yourself a chance on some amazing gift baskets. Please visit this Google form to see all the baskets and take a chance on winning one (or more) of them.

All proceeds of the fundraiser will be donated to the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
