SUNY Oswego's new School of Humanities will present "A Public Humanities Salon: Ghosts, Memory and the Archive" featuring student and faculty work at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, in Penfield Library's Lake Effect Cafe.

The event aims to present an evening where the past lingers, the present reflects and the field of humanities reveals what refuses to be forgotten.

Student and faculty projects that bring the ghosts of memory to life inside an archive of stories, artifacts, and creative works.

The event invites participants to share their thoughts and ponder what still haunts people and what deserves to be remembered.

"Ghosts, Memory and the Archive" is free and open to the public, and also offers free pizza.
