Here is closing information for some key resources as the end of the 2024 spring semester approaches.
Penfield Library
The library will change its hours to the following after May 11.
Pre-summer semester hours: May 12 to 18
- Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: closed
Regular summer hours: May 20 to Aug. 9
- Mondays through Fridays: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.*
- Saturdays and Sundays: closed
Note: During EOP weeks, July 8 to 24, the library will be open until 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays
Late summer hours, Aug. 11 to 24
- Monday through Fridays: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays: closed
* Exceptions:
- Closed on May 27 (Memorial Day), June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 4 (Independence Day)
- For Reunion, open 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 8
Marano Campus Center
- As a building, Marano Campus Center will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from May 13 to Aug. 16.
Box Office
- The walk-up window at the Marano Campus Centerbox office will close on Friday, May 3, at 4 p.m.
- Walk-up summer hours will be determined when any season ticket information becomes available from Intercollegiate Athletics.
- Ticket inquiries will receive business-day replies when emailing tickets@oswego.edu.
CTS Help Desk
May 13 to Aug. 27
- Monday through Fridays: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: closed
- Exceptions: Closed on May 27 (Memorial Day), June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 4 (Independence Day)
Extended hours, week of Aug. 19 to 25
- Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 19 and 20: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 21 and 22: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 23: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 24: noon to 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 25: noon to 7 p.m.
Residence halls
- All residence halls will close on Saturday, May 11, at noon. Students must leave 24 hours after their last final or by the Saturday deadline. Participants in May Commencement can stay up to two hours after their ceremony concludes.
- Summer housing opens and transitions to Johnson Hall from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. Students will move in during that time.
- The Office of Residence Life and Housing will operate 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the summer.
Student Association
- Summer hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursday, May 13, to Aug. 26.
- Student Association’s Check Cash Service will close at 3 p.m. on May 2 and will re-open at 10 a.m. on Aug. 26
Health Services
- Summer hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with clinic hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Appointments can be made by calling 315-312-4100, option 1.
- Health Services will only be available for telehealth appointments on June 5, 12 and 29
- Closed on May 27 (Memorial Day), June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 4 (Independence Day)
Check the Health Services website for any other closures or changes.
Campus Recreation
- Regular operating hours for all facilities will run Monday through Thursday of finals week.
- Cooper Fitness Center and Lee Hall will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10. Glimmerglass Fitness Center will be closed all that day.
- Campus Recreation summer hours will begin May 28.
- Please visit the Campus Recreation website for updated hours of operation.
College Stores
- Supplies in Lanigan closes Friday, May 10, at 4 p.m. and will remain closed for the summer.
- Marano Campus Center College Store will close Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m. and will reopen on Monday, May 13, at 10 a.m. Summer hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dining Centers
Semester closing will be:
- Cooper*: Friday, May 10, 3 p.m.
- Lakeside and Pathfinder: Friday, May 10, 7:30 p.m.
- Late Night at Cooper will be served 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Thursday, May 9.
*Cooper will serve Commencement Brunch on Saturday, May 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ID meal card and Laker Dining Dollars accepted or $12.45 cash per person.
Retail Dining and Catering
- Lake Effect, Crossroads and Fusion will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 10
- SIPS will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8
- Palates and Cutting Board will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 8
- Summer hours for retail dining and catering locations have not been determined at this time.
