Priority Housing, open now through Dec. 7, gives students a stronger lottery position during the Housing Selection Process for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Students can complete the Priority Housing Application and Roommate Matching in the MyHousing Portal by Dec. 7 to receive priority within their class year.
New for 2026–2027:
- One updated Housing Application (includes Housing and Dining License, Living Learning Communities and Gender Inclusive options)
- Paid single rooms now in Seneca, Scales, Hart, Waterbury and Riggs Halls (paid single rooms are limited)
- Paid single lottery for students wanting this option
- Roommate matching is now open and stays open through room selection
Hall designations:
- Upper-division only: The Village, Onondaga, Riggs, Scales, Seneca
- Mixed halls: Waterbury, Hart
- First-year only: Cayuga, Oneida, Funnelle
Who must live on campus:
First-year students: Required to live on campus for four consecutive semesters (fall and spring).
Transfer students: Required to live on campus for two consecutive semesters.
Important: Students enrolled as first-years in fall 2025 are required to live on campus for 2026–2027 and should not sign an off-campus lease.
Only students who have fulfilled the University Housing Policy may live off campus.
Leaving campus without being released from the Housing and Dining License means students are responsible for the associated charges.
