Sponsored by SUNY Oswego's Pride Alliance and Division of Student AffairsLavender Graduation is an event in which LGBTQ+ students acknowledge what they have accomplished, as well as what they hope to accomplish in the future. This semester's Lavender Graduation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium.

Participants not only share their hopes and dreams with one another, but are officially recognized by the institution for their leadership, successes and achievements.

If you are a graduating senior: Note that it is okay if you can not attend the ceremony, but organizers would still like for you to be recognized, and you can receive your cords at a time you are available.

If you are not a graduating senior, the Pride Alliance still encourages students to attend to cheer on their peers, and for faculty members to cheer on their students, whether you are part of LGBTQ+ community or not. Organizers welcome all those who are supportive of the community.

Please RSVP for the event via this Google form link (regardless of whether you are a student or faculty).
