Effective Monday, Feb. 25, Penfield Library is changing its protocol for accepting community service volunteers. The library welcomes and appreciates volunteers within the following parameters:
- Volunteers may work up to two hours in the library per week, with up to four volunteers on duty at any one time.
- Available times are:
- Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m.
- Fridays: 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m.
- Volunteers can sign up for one-hour blocks.
- Volunteers must sign up at least 24 hours in advance, either in person at the circulation desk or via email at circhelp@oswego.edu.
- Community service opportunities will end for the semester on April 10.
