The full schedule, as well as information on some parking lot closures, is now available for the daylong OzFest on Friday, May 3.

While the day is headlined by a concert featuring Grammy-nominated entertainer Offset, a whole slate of activities will run from noon to 11 p.m.

  • Noon to 4 p.m.: Daytime activities will include carnival rides, food trucks offering sample items, make and takes, hair tinsel, a speed caricature artist, inflatables, temporary tattoos and vendors with items available for purchase 
  • 4 to 6 p.m.: A campus picnic sponsored by Auxiliary Services will feature a variety of offering, highlighting barbecue food options
  • 6:30 p.m.: Doors open for the concert in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall, sponsored by the Student Association Program Board
  • 8 p.m.: DJ Blackout opening act
  • 9 p.m.: Headline performance by Offset
  • 8:30 to 11 p.m.: Late Night Breakfast sponsored by Student Orientation and Family Engagement in Cooper Dining Hall

Parking lot closures

The setting up of these and other special events through Commencement will impact a pair of parking lots.

  • Lot E-31 will mostly close starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, to accommodate tent load-in and setup for events running through May 11 Commencement; handicapped-accessible parking spaces will remain open and available
  • Lot E-1 will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, reopening at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, to accommodate carnival rides and other OzFest activities
