Young Inventors is an educational program for students in fourth through sixth grade that focuses on STEM concepts and principles (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This program will include hands-on/minds-on activities that will allow students to develop various problem-solving strategies and learn about the designed world. The lessons and activities are taught by technology education majors at SUNY Oswego.

For the spring program, dates are 6 to 7:30 p.m. on four consecutive Thursdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25. A remote Meet Your Teachers Night will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.

The spring 2024 topic for Young Inventors: Grades 5-6 is: Materials processing conversion, or designing and constructing a functional tasty morsel dispenser prototype that releases gumballs in the most entertaining way.
