Billed as an occurrence that only happens "once in a century," the city and campus will take part in a 13126 Day celebration on Saturday, marking a connection between Oswego's zip code (13126) and the date (1/31/26).

The day will feature activities, special events, themed promotions, and community engagement opportunities throughout the city.

SUNY Oswego is taking part by hosting a special student-led tour and opportunities for the campus community for open recreation.

The 13126 Day student-led tour, leaving Sheldon Hall at 1:26 p.m., provides a way for the community to learn more about the university and its facilities. This tour will take approximately an hour and 30 minutes, and advance registration is requested by emailing admiss@oswego.edu or calling 315-312-2500.

Campus Recreation will provide open gym and pool time in Lee Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as a special open skate from 3:15 to 5 p.m., to invite anybody interested in some physical activity.

To make participation easy and connected for all, the City of Oswego, in collaboration with Oswego County Mobility Management, will offer free public shuttles throughout the day, making it simple for residents and visitors to move between celebration locations, businesses, and event hubs.

More information on the day's activities and the shuttle routes, pickup points and timing is available on the city's website and the City of Oswego Facebook page
