Oswego Fans, Family and Community:
The Laker Baseball Coaching Staff and Players would like to take the time to send a message to all of our families, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and fans. All of you have followed and supported us throughout this season's incredible run and for that our staff and team thank you. This season was one we will never forget, with incredible highs and lows, and we hope you remember it fondly. You all are just as much a part of this season's successes as we are.
To our Families: You have been there through the good times and the bad, supporting us regardless of the outcome (or the location!). You have encouraged us at our worst and experienced us at our best. No matter what happened throughout the year, you were there to enjoy the ride with us. We thank you for everything.
To our Faculty/Staff and Administration: We are proud to represent you and the University at Oswego. From the emails we have received throughout this year's run to the World Series to the people stopping by the athletic complexes to catch a game or visit and say "good luck," we are blessed to have such a great support staff and we thank you for everything you do for us.
To our Alumni: We could not have accomplished our goals this year without your support. We always want to represent Oswego with respect and honor, and we hope to make you proud every time we step on the field. With everything from the donations to the text messages and phone calls, it is always encouraging to see that our alumni are dedicated to our success. With the continued help from our alumni, we will continue to excel on the field and set our sights on a national championship for SUNY Oswego.
To our Fans: Anyone who was present at the Regional Championship or the World Series discovered that SUNY Oswego fans are loyal, rowdy and grinders who will travel anywhere to support the team. You guys show up in extreme conditions of snow, wind, rain and heat without fail. Your energy and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated.
This season was a success in large part because of the support we received. We are grateful and thankful for everything you all do for our team, community, and university. We will continue to improve year in and year out, and it is our goal to bring a national championship to SUNY Oswego. With support like this from all of you, we know we have the assets to achieve these goals. For everything that you all do for us, our team and staff say Thank You!!
