The campus community is invited to get a team together for Grit 'N Wit, taking place from 3 to 6 p.m. this Friday, April 5, in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.

Participants will work together as a team and take on 16+ physical obstacles and mental puzzles for what organizers expect to be a fun afternoon. All participants will be free to opt out of a challenge they are not comfortable trying.  They can assist their teammates or cheer them on for the obstacle they opt out of and then continue on the rest of the way as a team.

Grit N’ Wit aims to be a fun, inclusive, teamwork-based obstacle course comprising mental and physical challenges for all abilities.

Students, faculty and staff can participate. Teams of three to six people are recommended.

Participants can sign up by showing up between 2:45 and 5:30 p.m. by registering a team in the upper concourse.

Teams will start every couple of minutes and the whole course should take about 20 to 35 minutes to complete.

If a team can't finish one of the physical challenges, they are encouraged to just move on to the next obstacle.

The top team times on the hour will win fun prizes.
