We are pleased to announce the successful applications for Grand Challenges mini grants for spring 2020. Our current Grand Challenge brings Fresh Water For All topics and activities into the classroom for student projects; the mini grants are intended to support this initiative.

Global and International Studies + Institute for Global Engagement
Lead Applicant: Lisa Glidden

Dr. Farhana Sultana of Syracuse University will give a talk on her new book, "Water Politics: Governance, Justice and the Right to Water." This talk will be open to the public during Earth Week. Sultana will also host the Global and International Studies Honor Society Induction.

English and Creative Writing 
Lead Applicant: Melissa Webb

Project: Juried collection, distribution and presentation of student cross-disciplinary work on the Fresh Water Grand Challenge project via a printed anthology of exemplary student production over the spring 2020/fall 2020 semesters.
