In advance of the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, members of the campus are invited to take advantage of an opportunity for one free pair of eclipse glasses via the Marano Campus Center box office.
These glasses, which meet the requirements for safety while viewing the eclipse, must be claimed in person at the Marano Center Box Office between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to having one pair of glasses available to all SUNY Oswego students, faculty and staff, those interested in any additional pair may pay $2 per unit.
Funding for these glasses was provided through a grant awarded by Auxiliary Services.
