A pair of food drives on campus this week will support the Human Concerns Center, a pantry that serves the Oswego community.

The university's SEFA (State Employees Federated Appeal) committee will collect non-perishable items at two men’s hockey games during White Out Weekend (also S[o]uper Bowl Weekend), both at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb 10.

Between January and March, the supplies at Human Concerns Food Pantry are at the lowest point of the year, and they could use any help available, organizers said.

In addition, the university's box offices are teaming up with the City of Oswego Police Department for another Souper Bowl food drive supporting Human Concerns. Members of the campus community can take part by putting canned goods into the box at the Marano Campus Center box office for which team -- Kansas City or San Francisco -- they think will win the S[o]uper bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11.
