Acting on a Presidential order, the United States flag will be flown at half-staff on the SUNY Oswego campus and upon all public buildings and grounds across the country until sunset, Nov. 10, 2018 to honor the victims of the tragic shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in Thousand Oaks, California.
On behalf of the Oswego campus community, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims who lost loved ones in this senseless act of violence. Once again and far too often, I call upon the Oswego family to collectively stand for peace and civility as we extend our hearts and minds to solving the issue of violence.
