The college's Title IX office and related It's On Oz campaign will have its last sessions of the semester today and tomorrow.

A Title IX training will take place at 1 p.m. today (Dec. 4) in 201 Marano Campus Center. Students and employees are encouraged to attend these information sessions to learn more about policies, reporting and response procedures as well as ways to get involved in prevention of sexual and interpersonal violence.

A "Behind the Post" workshop at 2 p.m. today, also in 201 Marano Campus Center, features a film that shows that there is more to a relationship than what people see on social media. Attendees can learn about the 10 signs of an unhealthy relationship, and how social media can play a dangerous role in an abusive relationship.

A consent workshop will take place at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in 201 Marano Campus Center. The workshop uses various methods, videos and discussion prompts to help participants talk about and understand affirmative consent. These workshops can be altered to reflect the needs/interests of the group.

Anybody interested in attending one of these events can sign up online. This program meets requirements for student organization required training. Anybody with questions can e-mail lisa.evaneski@oswego.edu.

More information on these trainings and college policies can be found the college's Title IX website.
