Campus Recreation and Fitness has a range of engaging programs for students this upcoming semester, especially with a full February.

  • Intramural Sports kicks off its first round of sports with Broomball Tournament, Indoor Soccer League, Pickleball League and Volleyball League. Register as a team or free agent. Men's, women's and co-rec offered. Registration deadline of Feb. 1
  • Also, Esports kicks off this month with NHL '22, FIFA '22, MLB and Halo. Deadlines for all on Feb. 20. Register on IMleagues.com/oswego, If you have questions, email intramuralsports@oswego.edu
  • The Make and Take series is back. Every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m., drop into 133 Marano for a variety of activities and crafts for your wellbeing. Co-sponsored with the Dean of Students office.  
  • Watch for the Laker 21-day Challenge with a choose your own adventure offering, such as losing three pounds in three weeks, drinking enough water each day, setting goals like reaching 9,000 steps each day, starting your semester setting a schedule and achieving better time management or any custom goal. The program weigh in, sign up and goal setting is on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 3 to 5 p.m., or Friday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Locations will be announced on the Campus Rec special events website. There will be great prizes at the 14-day check in and for completing the challenge you will receive a Laker 21-day Challenge T-shirt.

  • Bench Press Competition: Feb. 25
