The campus will hold a Farewell Reception for Dr. Mary Toale from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, in 114 Marano Campus Center to recognize the longtime leader as she prepares to depart SUNY Oswego to join SUNY Geneseo as its provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Currently the deputy to the president for strategy and planning, Dr. Toale has served SUNY Oswego in various leadership roles, including as SUNY Oswego's Officer in Charge from 2022 to 2023, Acting Vice President for Student Affairs in 2021, Interim Dean of Graduate Studies in 2017, and is a tenured full professor of communication studies. Toale will begin her role with Geneseo on March 28.
