Dear members of the Oswego campus community,
I am pleased to share the news of the recent appointment of Elizabeth (Liz) Droz as associate dean of students at SUNY Oswego. In this role, Droz, who joined the Dean of Students office on August 9, will oversee the student care functions in the Dean of Students Office. She will report to the vice president for student affairs and enrollment management.
Liz looks forward to developing collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and students, and creating learning opportunities and partnerships that enhance the student experience. She has worked in various positions in student affairs at both private and public universities. Most recently, she worked at SUNY Administration, and as dean of students at The Hotchkiss School – a prep school in Connecticut. She received her doctorate in counseling psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a bachelor of arts degree from Barnard College.
