Lavender Graduation is an event in which LGBTQ+ students acknowledge what they have accomplished, as well as what they hope to accomplish in the future, this year from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (room 132).

To take part in this event sponsored by Pride Alliance, fill out this registration link by Thursday, April 19. (The link can also be found on Laker Life.)

Participants not only share their hopes and dreams with one another but they are officially recognized by the institution for their leadership, successes and achievements.

If you are a graduating senior: Note that it is okay if you can not attend the ceremony, as organizers would still like for you to be recognized, and you can receive your cords at a time you are available.

If you are not a graduating senior, organizers still encourage you to attend to cheer on your peers (or students, if you are a faculty member), whether you are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not. All of those supportive of the community are welcome.
