Penfield Library has announced it is now taking applications for 2019 College Impact Collections Grants. Please note that the application period has been shortened this year. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15.

All full- and part-time faculty and professional staff are eligible for grants, regardless of whether or not you have received a library grant previously.

About the grant

Grants of up to $500 each will be awarded to faculty and professional staff for selection of materials supporting professional development, scholarly activity, program/course curriculum needs, or student success. Last year, the library awarded 14 grants.

All material will become part of the Penfield Library Collection and receive a bookplate with the awardee's name, department and year the grant was issued.

This program is funded through a New York State Coordinated Collection Development Aid grant.

Visit the College Impact Collections Grant page online for the application form and additional instructions.

For answers to additional questions, faculty should contact their department/major's librarian liaison; professional staff should contact Lynne Rhys, associate library director.
