SUNY Oswego sign lit up in purple to recognize World Pancreatic Cancer Day

Purple is the color associated with pancreatic cancer across the globe. Around the world, during November’s Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, landmarks and homes light up purple to put a spotlight on a disease that organizers say deserves more recognition.

Supporters are encouraging all to visit the landmarks lit up purple in their local areas and to take photos in front of them, then to consider sharing the images on your own social media and help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer today and through the month of November.
