Campus Recreation will host a fun recreational T-ball program this summer for children ages 3 to 6 who are part of current student, faculty or staff families.
Sessions will be held on Tuesdays — June 9, 16 and 23 — from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Laker Outdoor Turf Stadium. Children must be 3 years old by Jan. 1, 2026.
Participation is free. An optional $10 branded t-shirt will be available, with payment due at the first session. Gloves are optional. Players will be placed on either the Red or Blue Team; organizers ask participants to please have your child wear a red or blue shirt accordingly if you don't plan to purchase one of the branded shirts.
Advance registration is required: Please use this Children T-Ball registration form. Space is limited to the first 20 participants.
This program is a great way for families to introduce young children to sports, connect with others in the campus community, and enjoy T-ball in a supportive, low-pressure environment, organizers said. A parent or guardian must remain on-site during all sessions.
Interested in helping? You also can volunteer as an assistant coach to support the players and help make the program a success.
