The SUNY Oswego Blackboard instance will receive an upgrade on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m. During this time, Blackboard will be unavailable.
The upgrade is necessary to move to the newest Blackboard version, which includes a new content editor, updated inline assignment grading, and changes that allow for better integration with third-party publisher tools.
The new content editor allows text to display better on all devices - regardless of screen size. This improves course accessibility. Text copied and pasted from Word, Excel or websites allows you to easily remove the extra formatting code while maintaining the original formatting.
