CTS is alerting all members of the campus community of a Blackboard outage scheduled to take place later this week.
The SUNY Oswego Blackboard instance will receive two updates this week, requiring Blackboard to be unavailable during the following times:
- Thursday, Aug. 16 from 3 to 7 am
- Friday, Aug. 17 from midnight to 7 am
The first outage on Aug. 16 is necessary to move the SUNY Oswego Blackboard instance to a new data center. The second outage on Aug. 17 will upgrade Blackboard to a new version, which will provide submission receipts, improved accessible content creation, and additional drag and drop functionality.
