Jaclyn Schildkraut named interim director of Rockefeller Institute Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium

This week, the Rockefeller Institute of Government announced the appointment of SUNY Oswego Associate Professor Dr. Jaclyn Schildkraut as new interim executive director of the Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium. Schildkraut will lead the consortium and its more than 50 interdisciplinary gun violence researchers across eight states and territories as the nation confronts a renewed surge in gun violence.

Public invited to ‘Celebrate Snow’ at Rice Creek’s family-friendly outdoor winter festival

Rice Creek Field Station invites the public and members of the campus community to its free Celebrate Snow winter festival on Saturday, Feb 19 (with a severe weather date of Feb 20). The family-friendly outdoor festival (noon to 2 p.m.) will be followed by an invited lecture at 2 p.m. by Rochester Institute of Technology professor Michael Peres on “Photographing the Best Snowflakes.”
