Oswego student earns statewide EOP honor

Damien Nguyen, a senior double majoring in human development and criminal justice, recently earned the statewide Norman R. McConney, Jr. Award for outstanding student excellence. This award recognizes Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) students who overcome obstacles to go above and beyond in their academic endeavors.

This summer, SUNY Oswego and WCNY, with the support of the Syracuse City School District (SCSD) and Central New York Community Foundation, will offer the first-ever "Visual Storytelling Summer Camp." The free camp is open for applications from middle-school students in the region.

Four Oswego students win SUNY Chancellor’s Awards

Four SUNY Oswego students have earned the 2023 SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Student Excellence, the highest such recognition in the state system. These awards recognize outstanding accomplishments inside and outside the classroom for childhood education-English major Kaitlin Flint, zoology major Brooke Goodman, meteorology major Kaitlyn Jesmonth and psychology major Adriana Militello.
