'Blanco Posnet' characters to re-create George Bernard Shaw play with 'voices alone'

Veterans at Oswego, partner colleges supported by SUNY Impact grant

The SUNY Impact Foundation has awarded a grant of $70,400 from the U.S. Ambassador Carl Spielvogel Fund for Veterans to fund an academic support proposal submitted jointly by SUNY Oswego, Jefferson Community College, SUNY Canton, and SUNY Potsdam to strengthen transfer pathways and foster academic success for student veterans.

Faculty member co-writes 'Nutty' holiday film to air on Lifetime

SUNY Oswego faculty member Juliet Aires Giglio and her husband, Keith Giglio, teamed as screenwriters for the comedy romance "A Very Nutty Christmas," premiering at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 on the Lifetime network and starring Melissa Joan Hart and Barry Watson.

Last year, The Fund for Oswego provided the campus with $4.1 million, including $1.34 million for 430 privately funded student scholarships. The remaining $2.76 million provided vital departmental and program support that delivers the margin of excellence in a SUNY Oswego education.
