Booster Clinics / Monthly Testing Schedule for Employees

In a follow up to my Jan. 24, 2022 message regarding vaccination and surveillance testing for employees, please find additional details regarding monthly testing and on-campus booster clinics this semester.

Get Tested

As a reminder, employees who have not provided proof of vaccination must continue mandatory weekly testing.  Vaccinated employees who have not yet received their booster shot (or have not provided proof of having received their booster) are required to participate in monthly surveillance testing.

Those employees who are required to participate in monthly surveillance testing are encouraged to get tested based on the following schedule.

  • Employees whose last name begins with A-L, you should test the first or second week of each month.
  • Employees whose last name begins with M-Z should test the third or fourth week of each month.

Please plan on testing monthly for the duration of the spring 2022 semester or until you receive your booster.  Visit the Testing Center website for more information and hours of operation at the Poucher Lounge testing location.

Get Boosted

SUNY Oswego will be hosting on-campus booster clinics on Tuesday, Feb. 15 and Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 11 am to 4 pm, in Swetman Gym.  Visit the Vaccination/Booster Clinics web page for more information and to register for your booster.

If you submitted your vaccination information already, and have since received your booster shot, you should complete the Employee Booster Verification Form to update your records with Human Resources.

Please note that employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days should not participate in surveillance testing for three months (90 days) from the date of their positive test. As a reminder, please be sure to provide eehealthscreen@oswego.edu with your positive test results in order to be exempt from surveillance testing.

Please continue to see the Oswego Forward/COVID-19 Information for the most updated information, announcements, and resources, or visit the HR webpage for the most updated information from the Human Resources and Payroll offices.

Sincerely,

Amy Plotner
Assistant Vice President of Human Resources
