If my family is staying in a hotel on the first day of the EOP Summer Program, can I stay with them?
No. You must stay in the residence hall.

The purpose of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is to fulfill New York state's commitment to provide access, academic support and financial aid to students who show promise for succeeding in college but who may not otherwise be offered admission. The primary mission of EOP is to facilitate the recruitment, enrollment, retention, and graduation of these students.

Applicants for EOP consideration must:

1. Meet specific income guidelines.
2. Be an NYS resident for 12 months prior to enrollment.
3. Require special admissions consideration.

Mission: Consistent with the missions of both the State University of New York and SUNY Oswego, the mission of the EOP program is to encourage and assist EOP students in the preparation for, entry to, and completion of a postsecondary degree.
