Using Email Notifications in Google Forms

One of the great things about utilizing Google Forms is that it not only gathers information for you and puts it into a spreadsheet, it also notifies you via email when responses are received or changes are made.

 

After you have setup a form, setting up notifications is simple. Just open the spreadsheet and go to Tools > Notification Rules.

 

 

You can then setup a rule to notify you when changes are made or a form is submitted. Then you choose whether you would like to get an email everytime your set rule occurs, or be sent a daily digit if you expect to be getting many notifications throughout the day.
