  • TIP update

  1. The TIP committee met and is reviewing the requests.  We will be meeting next week and making decisions.  Good number of applications.  Will try to make the decisions before break.

  • ITC Update

    1. Met on the 4th.  Accepting accessibility fellows.  We are accepting applications.

    2. Spring Breakout.  A featured session is Controlling your Chaos. (see below for more information)

    3. Hyflex classrooms - two available for use.  Equipment is taking a while to come infor any future enhancements

    4. SET closes today.

    5. Print project is making progress, and the pilot program in Rich is up and running.

    6. More systems are being added to MFA

    7. TeamDynamix has replaced ServiceNow.

  • CTS Projects Updates

    1. Leigh - Thank you for your fast response, your team is very efficient.

  • Print project update

    1. Pilot is still ongoing in Rich Hall. The team is continuing to work on it.  Had a few issues with the print release but is working now.  

    2. Next will be testing the rollout of the new software to Rich Hall.

    3. Finalizing documentation on how to print, releasing documents and generating passcodes.

    4. Finance department is working on the finances for replacing the next group of printers.

    5. The team is working on the 7th floor of Culkin currently

  • Winter Breakout Workshops

    1. To register for these workshops (91 workshops) in Winter Breakout 

  • Upcoming projects/New Systems

    1. Campus Groups - Student Life is being implemented.  This appplication will replace Laker Life.  It will be up and running for the spring semester.

    2. CampusCE - Extended Learning will be implementing this.  Will be able to support non-academic microcredentials.  We will be in a better position to market and count them.

    3. Software licensing renewal.  One product we are looking at is Qualtrics.  It is used quite a bit. The price is increasing signifiantly.  Qualtrics is the industry standard for surveys.  If you are an advocate for this please send Sean a note.  Will be talking to SOB.  Initially, each school contributed some of the funding.  Alla - IR uses Qualtrics extensively.  

  • The improved Digital Experience

    1. Leigh - On the personalized menu will we be able to add Jaggaer and BI?  Yes, you will be able to configure this however you want.  

  • The Digital Experience for applicants through Slate (Zach Demarsh)

    1. Zach showed a preview of updates in the SLATE orientation portal and students' engagement and making their onboarding experience easy.  They can see what they need to proceed with their applications, make appointments and stay on track with their academic goals.  The changes make it a more personal experience.
