Accomplished SUNY Oswego music faculty vocalists will present "Vocal Array" at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, in Sheldon Hall ballroom as part of the music department's Focus on Faculty series.

Todd Graber, Nancy James and Robert Allen will share a wide variety of art songs -- vocals often set to poetry -- from German, Italian, French and English traditions. The performance will end with a set of musical theater pieces. Music faculty member Mihoko Tsutsumi will accompany the vocalists on piano.

"The idea behind the recital was to sing some of the more standard 'beginner' songs that we assign to our students," said Graber, who coordinates the 2017-18 Focus on Faculty series. "This is so they can see that these are not just 'study' pieces but beautiful songs in their own right."

Tickets are priced at $8 ($5 for students) and are available at the door starting 30 minutes before the concert.

Parking is included in the price of a ticket and is available in the employee and commuter lots adjacent to and across Washington Boulevard from Sheldon Hall.
