SUNY Oswego in Syracuse at the Metro Center will showcase the work of Onondaga Art Guild members in a free exhibition from Feb. 9 to April 6.

A free public reception for the artists will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at SUNY Oswego in Syracuse, the college's location at 2 Clinton Square.

Onondaga Art Guild artists have found advantages in banding together for strengthening the interests of art in the community. OAG annually offers a scholarship, sometimes two, to outstanding seniors from the Syracuse City School District whose interests are the visual arts, and who are admitted to college programs in the field.

SUNY Oswego in Syracuse, offering expanded regional access to the college's nationally ranked undergraduate and graduate degree programs, hosts a branch of Tyler Art Gallery, often featuring the work of Central New York artists to make their work accessible to people living, working and studying downtown.
