Our faculty

The lifeblood of any academic institution is its faculty. Among the more than 300 full-time faculty at Oswego are Fulbright scholars, noted researchers, gifted artists and writers, and winners of many different awards.

Our faculty have earned research grants research from such agencies as NASA, the Smithsonian Institution and the National Science Foundation, to name just a few. Several have received SUNY Chancellor’s recognition for outstanding research contributions. Students benefit from daily contact with these scholars, who often share their research interests with them.

Faculty actively engage in scholarly and creative activities with colleagues and students. Through Faculty Assembly, they also take an active role in decision-making for the institution.
