Prof. Spector received his B.B.A. degree from Hofstra University, and his MS degree from Clarkson College of Technology.  He is also a NYS CPA.  Appointed in 1974, Prof. Spector's teaching interests include Financial Accounting, and Accounting for Extractive Industries.  He is an active member of the NYSSCPAs and chairs its Higher Education Committee.  An advocate of international education, he has taught in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.  During the summers of 1998 and 1999, he taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
