Presidential Search Website

We have also launched a Presidential Search website to keep the campus community informed.  The website contains information about the search process, schedule/timeline, search committee, and the search firm, Academic Search, which has been retained to guide the search for Oswego’s next president.

The website will soon provide a presidential search prospectus and advertisement for the position at SUNY Oswego.  For all information on the position and process, please continue to visit SUNY Oswego’s presidential search website for the search timeline and community updates.  Please refer anyone with questions about the search process to the website.

Upcoming Listening Sessions and Survey to Gather Community Input

Input from the entire SUNY Oswego community is essential at this stage of the search.  During the second week of November (Nov. 8-12), Listening Sessions will be led by Academic Search Senior Consultants Kate Nolde and Bill Kibler to allow members of a variety of campus and community constituencies an opportunity to register their views about future needs and priorities for SUNY Oswego.  At these sessions—to be finalized and posted to the Presidential Search website in the coming days—we will engage in discussion and carefully consider your thoughts about the qualities, skills and experiences you are looking for in the next SUNY Oswego president.

We are also asking for your collective input via a Presidential Search survey, and encourage students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the college to take a few minutes to complete the survey at SUNY Oswego Presidential Search Survey.

Thank you for your support and participation in the SUNY Oswego Presidential search process.  We look forward to updating you every step of the way on this journey we share in finding the next president of SUNY Oswego.

Sincerely,

James McMahon
