Dear Faculty, Staff and Administrators,

For much of the spring and throughout this past summer, buildings on the SUNY Oswego campus have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Looking “Oswego Forward” and as our employees ramp up efforts in preparation for the fall semester and the return of our students, all campus buildings will be fully accessible beginning this coming Monday (July 27).  Subsequently and in consultation with their respective vice president, many offices and departments will formally open for operations and be minimally staffed, beginning the following Monday (Aug. 3).

The normal summer door schedule (open at 7 a.m. and closed at 4:30 p.m.) will be in effect from July 27 through August 23, or by requests made through Campus Life.  Beginning on August 24, in concert with the first day of classes and start of the academic semester, doors to campus facilities will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Please know that the health and safety of our entire campus community remains our top priority.  The campus will remain in compliance with State guidelines regarding the on-campus staffing of essential personnel, and are not allowing any outside visitors to campus.  Please be sure to continue to coordinate your individual work plans with your supervisors.

Also note that we will be coordinating with supervisors in the coming weeks on a plan to distribute PPE to employees and will be sharing these details in a future update.

Regards,

Nicholas Lyons
Vice President for Administration and Finance
