Arrests July 8 to Aug. 18

From July 8 to Aug. 18, 2017, SUNY Oswego police have investigated several cases of found property, drug possession, motor vehicle accidents and charged 14 people.

Misdemeanor

Police arrested an 18-year-old Staten Island man on charges of second-degree criminal nuisance.

Violations

Police charged two 20-year-old Syracuse men and a 20-year-old Altmar man with unlawful possession of marijuana.                  

Motor vehicle felony

Police arrested a 57-year-old Hannibal man for first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony. He was also charged with circumventing an interlock device, a misdemeanor, and operating a portable device while driving, a violation.

Motor vehicle misdemeanors

A 24-year-old Oswego man was charged with driving with a suspended registration and no insurance.

Police charged a 31-year-old Oswego man with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle out of class, an infraction. 

A 30-year-old Fulton man was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or greater and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors. He was also charged with one motor vehicle violation and two motor vehicle infractions.

A 30-year-old Bishopville man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

A 34-year-old Oswego man was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an infraction.

Police charged a 42-year-old Bath woman with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Police charged a 40-year-old Fulton man with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

A 28-year-old Oswego man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of .18 or higher and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was also charged with speeding, an equipment violation and unlawful possession of marijuana.        

A 34-year old Parish man was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and using a portable electronic device, a violation.
