Penfield Library is seeking students interested in serving as Ambassadors. This is a great opportunity to build your resume and gain valuable experience in the areas of marketing, outreach, and peer engagement.

Ambassadorships will be designed around your skills and interests. Opportunities will include some (or all) of the following:

  • Represent Penfield Library at tabling and other student events
  • Create materials that are aimed at increasing student use of Penfield library resources
  • Serve in an advisory capacity to provide ongoing student perspectives to library faculty
  • Assist in promoting Penfield Library on social media accounts, including creating social media posts, hosting Instagram takeovers, etc.
  • Contribute ideas for the design (and implementation) of library outreach initiatives
  • Promote Penfield Library’s resources and services in your classes

This is a volunteer position that is gamified to be fun and interactive with a flexible time commitment. Students selected to be Ambassadors can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience in outreach, marketing, social media campaigns, collaborating across campus, and most importantly, recognition as a delegate for the library.
