The Students

In Fall 2016, there were roughly 8,004 students enrolled at SUNY College at Oswego, about 7,150 undergraduates and 854 graduates.
The undergraduate student body is generally traditional. More than 75% of full-time students are between 18 and 21 years old, and 96.1% are studying full-time toward a degree.
The ratio of male to female undergraduate students is close to 50:50
New York residents comprise approximately 97% of all enrollees.
In Fall of 2016 students came from almost every county in New York as well as from 29 states and 30 foreign countries.
Transfer students from local community colleges and other higher education institutions comprise about 31% of first time full time undergraduate students.
