Tk20 by Watermark

Tk20 by Watermark is the School of Education's online data management system used for candidate and program assessment. It is used to define candidate performance outcomes that focus on the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions identified by Professional Association standards, the appropriate Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) standards or National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), the appropriate New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations, and the School of Education's Conceptual Framework.

Technology Annual Fall Conference

The Technology Annual Fall Conference is an educational mainstay that celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2014.  It involves hundreds of faculty, preservice technology students, technology teachers and school administrators, and technology education venders from the northeastern states.  Presentations, demonstrations, round table discussion groups, and other professional development activities are featured.  For more information, click on above link for Technology Annual Fall Conference.

Team Sheldon

Team Sheldon is a partnership among the Oswego County public schools, CiTi (Center for Instruction, Technology, and Innovation) BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services), and the SUNY Oswego School of Education. The Team Sheldon Executive Steering Committee consists of a subset of Oswego County School Superintendents, the Dean of the School of Education, and the Director of Team Sheldon. Each participating Oswego County school district hosts a PDS Liaison from the School of Education.

Professional Development Schools

The School of Education is involved in numerous professional development school (PDS) initiatives in Oswego and Onondaga Counties. All are designed to promote authentic learning social justice for P-12 students, promote professional growth among preservice and in-service teachers, and use an inquiry approach to address the diverse learning needs of P-12 students.
