The general access lab in Marano Campus Center (MCC) room 207 will be closed Wednesday, April 13 from 8am-5pm while new computers are installed.  During this time, the computer lab in MCC room 206 (across the hall from 207) will be available for general access use.  Penfield Library will also be available.

In order to better serve you, Campus Technology Services will be scheduling maintenance of the Advanced Technology Classrooms (ATCs) during Winter Break.  An ATC is considered to be any classroom equipped with a computer and projector.

August 25, 2014

SUNY Oswego has committed to a three year expansion of the campus wifi with the first locations being completed by mid-September.

Year 1 of the three year plan includes wifi expansion to Mahar, Rich, Lanigan second floor, Lee/Shineman Quad, Sheldon Ballroom and Culkin.

August 23, 2014

Last fall, the Shineman Center opened with one general access quick print station in room 188.  Once the station was fully operational, we quickly heard that one station was not enough.  We are happy to announce that CTS and Auxiliary Services have jointly identified space near the Fusion Cafe area of Shineman for two quick print stations.

Welcome back to the Spring semester. As we are only in early February, "Spring" semester seems to be a misnomer, but I am sure that warmer weather is not far away.

Winter break allowed CTS to accomplish quite a few items to prepare for the start of school. Here are a few highlights:

Campus Technology Services will be applying system updates and performing routine maintenance to our campus servers on Sunday, February 9, 2014. This work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 10:00 a.m.

One of the CTS server storage arrays had an issue over the weekend.  We have the issue mostly resolved but if faculty or staff have issues connecting to shared network 'Z' drives (not Google Drive), please try rebooting your computer first.  If you continue to experience problems, please contact the Help Desk at 315.312.3456.
