This is a final reminder that today is the last day ANGEL will be available for logins.  Effective tomorrow, September 1, all attempts to access the ANGEL website at www.oswego.edu/angel will automatically be redirected to the Blackboard Learn site at www.oswego.edu/bb.

Fall classes will be starting in a couple of weeks and with it the complete transition from ANGEL to Blackboard Learn.

As a reminder, the last day ANGEL access will be available is Monday, August 31, 2015. After that, any attempts to access it will be redirected to Blackboard Learn.

To assist in the migration from ANGEL to Blackboard Learn,  the Blackboard Learn Migration team will be offering numerous Blackboard Learn workshops throughout the summer.  In addition to the workshops, office hours are available for individual assistance.  Below are short descriptions of the summer offerings.

February 2, 2015

In the fall, we announced the planning surrounding the campus migration from the ANGEL learning management system to Blackboard Learn. The campus will be completely migrated to Blackboard Learn by the Fall 2015 semester.

September 9, 2013

On May 17, the Elluminate Live online synchronous collaboration tool was upgraded to Blackboard Collaborate.  Blackboard purchased the company along with a competing product called Wimba in 2010.  Blackboard used the best of both products to create Collaborate and is their future direction for online conferencing.

January 14, 2013

CTS officially introduced lecture capture service to the campus in the Fall 2012 semester.  It was available in approximately 15 classrooms.  CTS will be expanding the lecture capture service to an additional 5 classrooms for the start of the Spring 2013 semester.  Campus Center 306, 323, Mahar 111, 203 and Sheldon 336 will be the newest members to the lecture capture family.
