    • No update, will be sending out information soon.

  • CTS Report - Sean

    • Oswego Print Initiative Update - Nicole

      • Ongoing.  Will continue meeting with academic departments.  SUNY and Pharos will be coming to campus to help give a holistic approach.  Waiting to hear back from them regarding a timeline for their visit.  The goal for campuses is to remove all USB devices and to move to multi-function devices.

    • Projects of interest

    • Discussion regarding Banner and other applications we are using within Banner.

6. Projects

  • Multi-factor Authentication - Sean & Nicole

    • John - Many faculty have been forced to use their own computers in classrooms since they need to use microphones and webcams to accommodate students that are in isolation due to COVID (and the lack of microphones/webcams in many classrooms and crappy audio in the others). What will happen to them if they don't have a phone or phone reception in their classroom? The disruptions caused by random authentication disconnections (with Google slides and Zoom) in the middle of class are already extremely disruptive.

      • Sean: Faculty will have the option to configure their settings to have the phone ring in their classroom. Every classroom has a phone.

    • Opting in MFA

    • Will not affect Citrix at this time.

    • No Internet access is required for using the App (after initial installation).

    • Will have office hours & zoom to help people get this setup.

  • Digital Learning Environment Update - Kathi

    • John - There will also be some new tools introduced into the LMS this summer and SUNY will be soliciting volunteers to participate in a pilot to evaluate these tools. A SUNY committee is currently evaluating the set of additional tools that will be used in this pilot, with a decision on the tools to be made later this spring. (Funding for this just became available from the SUNY IITG budget.).

    • Theresa - If you are teaching over the summer, please be sure to reach out to us to get your ready.

7. Adjourn

Motion to adjourn, Dave Bozak, second Theresa Gillard-Cook.
