SUNY Oswego and the School of Business are dedicated to being active members of the global community. International students are welcomed and students traveling abroad is encouraged. Many School of Business faculty members engage in international research, and some choose to teach abroad during the summer.

Current students - Change of major
Current Oswego students wanting to change their major to a major in the School of Business, should make requests via the Business Advisement Center (BASAC), 230 Rich Hall. Applicants changing their majors must be in good standing, i.e., having a GPA at Oswego of 2.0 or higher, or be in their first semester as a student at Oswego.

Students benefit from classroom assignments, on-campus work opportunities and membership in professional organizations. These professional organizations are student-operated, faculty advised, and provide avenues to interact with and gain experience from professional groups within the business community. In September 2018, Enactus sponsored its 2nd annual start-up competition, "Launch it."
