The Students

In Fall 2012, there were roughly 7,921 students enrolled at SUNY College at Oswego, about 7,151 undergraduates and 770 graduates.

The undergraduate student body is generally traditional. More than 73% of full-time students are between 18 and 21 years old, and 95.3% are studying full-time toward a degree.

The ratio of male to female undergraduate students is close to 47:53.

New York residents comprise approximately 97% of all enrollees.

In Fall of 2012 students came from almost every county in New York as well as from 26 states and 19 foreign countries.

Transfer students from local community colleges and other higher education institutions comprise about 36% of first time full time undergraduate students.
