Laker Turf Stadium kick-off ceremony
Prior to the men's soccer game, SUNY Oswego President Deborah F. Stanley will officially open the facility together with Vice President for Student Affairs Jerald Woolfolk, Director of Athletics Sue Viscomi and esteemed alumnus and member of the 1966 SUNYAC men's soccer championship squad Dan Scaia, a 1968 Oswego graduate. The first 200 students in attendance will receive a free "Laker Turf Stadium Kickoff" T-shirt and a free soft pretzel. Free. 312-3056.

Concert: Bach cello suites by Matt Haimovitz
Renowned Israeli-born soloist Matt Haimovitz performs all six Bach cello suites, while visiting four Central New York locations. (The “moveable feast” begins with a Tuesday live-at-noon broadcast from the studios of WCNY FM (91.3), followed by a 3 p.m. appearance at the River’s End Bookstore. The musical tour resumes at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Tyler Gallery in Penfield Library.) Prospective students and their parents are strongly encouraged to visit the campus and discuss college plans with a counselor from the Admissions Office (315-312-2250). The Admissions Office is open for appointments from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tours of the campus are also available on a regular schedule during the academic year. In addition to this, the Admissions Office offers informational seminars, which are held on a regular schedule during the fall and spring semesters. These programs include the opportunity to tour the Art Department as well as to speak with faculty and students in the program. Interested students and parents should call the Admissions Office well in advance for an appointment. The City of Oswego is located just 35 miles northwest of Syracuse, NY. The picturesque Oswego State campus is on State Route 104 near the western city limits of Oswego.
Take I-81 south to Route 104; follow Route 104 west through Oswego to campus.
Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) west to Exit 34A (vicinity of Syracuse). Proceed north on Route 481 t hrough Fulton to Route 104 in Oswego. Follow Route 104 west to campus.
Take Route I-81 north to Exit 16A (Syracuse). Proceed north on Route 481 through Fulton, to Route 104 in Oswego. Follow Route 104 west to campus.
Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) east to Exit 40 (Weedsport). Travel north on Route 34 to Route 104, then east on Route 104 to campus. Or take Route 104 east directly to campus.
